630 (1.4542) stainless steel is a stainless steel quality that is being used more and more in our country and in the world day by day. 630 quality stainless steel and other quality stainless steels in this group can provide various benefits compared to other grades. One of the most important of these is that the stainless steels in this group not only show corrosion resistance to the extent of austenitic stainless steels, but also have the property of gaining advanced resistance through heat treatment, like martensitic stainless steels. The most commonly used grade in this stainless group (named after 17% chromium and 4% nickel) is 17-4 PH.
630 grade stainless steel is a type of steel that is rapidly becoming widespread in the world, as it has high mechanical strength, high hardness and good price-performance ratio. 630 quality stainless is frequently used in pump and valve shafts, kitchen appliances, petro-chemical industry, chemical plants and places with stainless steel decoration materials. One of the areas where this stainless quality, also called 1.4542 PH 17-4, is used most frequently is the defense industry. This stainless steel material, which is preferred in the defense industry in our country, is frequently used due to its high mechanical values and long life.
